Dimapur, August 22 (MExN): Industrial Village Razüphe Dimapur (IVRD) held an emergency meeting on August 20 at the residence of its council chairman.
The meeting resolved that as per the 2011 Indian Census, the code of Industrial Village Razüphe Dimapur is ‘0004’ and the village will use the same as the official code in the near future.
Regarding the village Fair Price Shop and ration card, the council resolved to issue the ration card to the beneficiaries only after some rectification from the authority concerned, a press release from Head GB, IVRD, TL Angami and village council secretary, Kenei Angami said.
The meeting also directed all the Aadhaar card holders in the village to submit a photocopy of their Aadhaar card to the VDB secretary at the earliest.
Further, it was highlighted that the village council had given a time to the wine sellers to do their business till 7:00 pm, which they violated. Therefore, the IVRD council resolved to strictly prohibit selling of wine/IMFL within the village jurisdiction with effect from August 20, 2016. The council will approach the police and excise to assist them in implementing the same, according to the release.
Meanwhile, the house resolved that if fund is available, development of the following village community properties will be taken up – community hall, anganwadi hall, GPS, medical sub-centre, community bus, and celebration of golden jubilee. For the construction of the village properties, the IVRD council will approach the government for implementation, it was added.
