Kids Voice final competition 2011 was held on October 16 at Changtongya town B Church, which was organised by Christian Education department Changtongya Town Baptist Church Arogo. J. Toshimenla Longkumer, 10 years d/o Imkongsanen Longkumer of Changtongya Yenisen village residing at Medical ward Changtongya town was declared the winners of Kids Voice 2011 competition.
The programme was chaired by Akumlila Jamir CE Director CTBA with T. Aliba Imchen Associate Pastor CTBA as the resource person. Speaking on the occasion, he said that God has given every one with different talent and singing is also one of them. He further encouraged all the participants to seek God’s blessing while utilising their talent adding that God bless those who obeys and listen to His word and also to trust Him with faith in life.
Akumlila said that the first audition of the 2011 was held on August 8 with 14 kids out of which 11 were selected for the second audition held on July 6 while 5 of them were selected at the 3rd audition on August 17 for the final of October 16. All five finalists gave their final performance.
The judges were Narola Imchen Matsüng Longkumer and Wati Longkumer. Vote of thanks was delivered by Akumlila during which she thanked the judges and all the participants and their parents for their support and also thanked the Church for giving such kind of platform to the kids to explore their talent.
The prize was distributed by Narola Tsudir while invocation was pronounced by R. Asangla Longkumer. The programme started with a special song ‘Heal the World’ by all the participant kids.
