Dimapur, April 22 (MExN): Member of Legislative Assembly, Jacob Zhimomi, during a meeting with government officials posted at Niuland expressed desire to see 4th Ghaspani-I A/C, which is by far the biggest constituency in the state both in terms of numbers of voters and area, as one of the most developed and advanced areas in the state.
A press note received here stated that assuring to extend all possible support for the upliftment of the constituency as a whole, he requested all government officials posted under Niuland sub-division to give their best for the welfare of people and to bring about developmental change in the constituency over the next five years. The informal meeting that was held at the office premises of ADC Niuland on Monday is the first informal meeting with the government officials of Niuland sub-division since he was elected as people’s representative to the state legislative assembly.
Jacob felt the absence of ADC Niuland, who is the administrative head of the sub-division, at the meeting and reminded all the government officials to attain judiciously with dedication and commitment to do something for the people. He also strictly reminded them to be stationed at the place of their posting besides pressing for timely completion of ongoing government projects. Officials of various departments also spoke at the meeting and apprised the MLA about practical problems faced by the department.
