Imphal, October 14 (MExN): The Xth Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament 2016 has been preponed to October 27. A decision in this regard was taken during a meeting of the organisers, the Zeliangrong Football Association (ZFA) on October 8 at its Head Office in Kakhulong, Imphal, a press release informed. The tournament was previously scheduled to kick off on November 1. Altogether, 30 Zeliangrong teams/clubs from different parts of Manipur and Nagaland will participate in this year’s tournament. For smooth and successful conduct of the tournament, all the participating team/club are informed to attend the Managers’ Meeting by sending at least two representatives each on Sunday, October 16 at 11:30 am at ZFA Head Office, Kakhulong, Imphal. The team/club group lots and fixture shall be drawn on the day of the meeting, the release informed.
