Bhubaneswar, April 21 (MExN): Odisha Governor Dr. SC Jamir hosted a state dinner in honour of President of Nepal Bidhya Devi Bhandari in Raj Bhavan on Thursday, April 20.
The Governor and his wife Alemla Jamir received the President Bhandari on her arrival at Raj Bhavan in Bhubaneswar and accorded her a warm welcome. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also received the visiting President on the occasion, a press release informed.
This is Bhandari's first foreign tour after assuming office in October 2015. She is on a two day visit to Odisha which is part of her five day visit to India.
Bhandari is accompanied by her daughter and a 33-member delegation including Foreign Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat, Peace and Re-construction Minister Sita Devi Yadav, five women lawmakers and other senior officials.
