DIMAPUR, JULY 20 (MExN): The Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) held an emergency meeting on July 20 and resolved to ask TR Zeliang to refrain from occupying the chair of the Chief Minister of Nagaland at this juncture until the Judicial Inquiry Commission completes its final report into the ULB violence that occurred earlier in the year. A press release from the JCC Convener said this was necessary in order to ensure that the inquiry is conducted in an impartial manner. It further informed that the JCC along with the NCD and tribal hohos would conduct a meeting on July 26 at the ASTD Treasurer’s residence.
