
DIMAPUR, JULY 26 (MExN): The Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) held a meeting today in Dimapur and expressed resentment at TR Zeliang holding the Chief Minister’s post while the JIC inquiry into the ULB violence is ongoing. It also came down heavily at legislators “for their conduct by putting their self interest first and neglecting the welfare of the people by undermining the will of the people which they are elected to serve.” The JCC meanwhile reiterated its demand for the revocation of the Assembly resolution/ amendment for ULB election which was passed on November 24, 2016 and further asked the JIC make public its report within two months. It meanwhile also expressed concern at the recent formation of the DNYF.
