Blames callousness of PDA 'major parties' over loss of Dr Chumben Murry
WOKHA, JUNE 4 (MExN): The Nagaland unit of the Janata Dal United has congratulated S Subongmeren Jamir for winning the long Nagaland Parliamentary seat 2024.
While the party had supported the candidature of the People’s Democratic Alliance, Dr Chumben Murry wholeheartedly, the JD (U) through a press communiqué blamed the callousness of the major parties of the PDA as instrumental for the loss of the NDPP candidate.
It alleged that the “superiority complexity manifested at its height so much so that not even a single all party Presidential meeting was convened during the whole course of the campaign.”
“The whole planned campaign strategy was closely guarded by few individuals keeping the other political parties in the dark. This also speaks for itself that there could be double game players within the major parties. The spirit of campaign from the very beginning was lackadaisical eventually protruding an ugly head of failure,” it further alleged.
No doubt all the legislators of the parties in the opposition-less government need to own moral responsibility but those at the highest helm of affairs must own bigger responsibility and further accept the harsh reality that the majority of the Naga public is not in favour of the present dispensation, it stated.
