JD (U) Mahila national gen secy visits Nagaland

Dimapur, February 16 (MExN): Janata Dal (United) national general secretary (Mahila Wing), Dipti Sharma, who is also the incharge of northeast and West Bengal, visited Nagaland and apprised the party and Mahila Wing of the overall political scenario at the centre on February 14 in Dimapur.

According to a press release issued by general secretary JD (U), in charge of publicity, Lakui Kips, Dipri Sharma said that “the congress party at the centre being discredited has lost its ground and there will be no UPA government in 2014. Also, the BJP which has lost most of its main NDA ally will find difficult to manage majority.” The emerging third front, the release said, “will be formidable to both congress and BJP in 2014, where the regional parties will get 200+ seats in 2014 will have a chance to be part of ruling government in 2014.”

The release further said that Dipti Sharma lauded the state JD (U) party unit for supporting Neiphiu Rio’s candidature for the Lok Sabha election. She also assured the party that she will soon return to Nagaland as part of campaign for Lok Sabha election and also to mobilize the JD (U) Mahila Wing in the state.
