Wokha, January 31 (MExN): The Nagaland unit of Janata Dal (United) opened its headquarters in Wokha Town at PWD colony on January 31. Rev. R Lotha dedicated the office in the presence of party workers, while the flag was unfurled by YM Humtsoe, Chairman, Election Campaign Committee. Senchumo Lotha (NSN), president, JD (U) Nagaland spoke on the history of JD (U) by eulogising Jayaprakash Narayan, the founder of the party and also one of the members of the Peace Mission formed in1964 by GoI to solve the Naga political problem, informed a press release from Mhademo Shitiri, secretary, JD (U) Media Cell. He encouraged the party members that JD (U) is the right party for the Nagas as its founding father is deeply associated with the Naga cause, the release added.
