Dimapur, June 25 (MExN): The Jimomi Hoho held a felicitation programme on June 25 to give away Fraternity Award for academic excellence in the recently declared results of NBSE & CBSE examinations.
Limeka Zhimomi daughter of Toikhu Jimomi who scored top 3rd position in class twelve NBSE 2016 and Master Vito A. Zhimomison Avikhu Jimomi who achieved 100 percent in all the subjects in class ten CBSE 2016 were presented cash award along with citation certificates at the function held at Book Marc, near Super Market Dimapur.
Speaking on the occasion, former minister Ihezhe Zhimomi exhorted the gathering and congratulated the two toppers for achieving excellence in their academic fields. He said success comes with hard work, determination and with blessing from almighty God. He was of the view that students should be ambitious in life and to live on your on sweat which is the sweetest of all.
Ihezhe also urged the gathering to live a purposeful and meaningful life stating that let’s not be talkers but be doers. He gave away the awards to the meritorious students. Izheho Zhimomi pronounced the prayer of blessings upon the students.
The function was chaired by T. Vikuto Zhimomi, president, Jimomi Hoho and Aheto Jimomi, treasurer, Jimomi Hoho proposed the vote of thanks.
