Kohima, November 30 (MExN): Reliance Jio, the world’s largest private mobile data network has announced the extension of JioTrue5G coverage at the Hornbill Festival in Kisama Village, Kohima from December 1 to 10.
“Visitors equipped with a Jio subscription and compatible 5G-enabled devices can now experience next-generation wireless technology during the 24th edition of the Hornbill Festival of Nagaland,” stated a press release received here. It stated that as the Digital Partner for the seventh consecutive year, Jio remains committed to enhancing the festival experience. “Those with Jio subscriptions and 5G-enabled devices can enjoy seamless connectivity and lightning internet speeds.” Jio has introduced a unique opportunity for visitors without a Jio SIM. At the festival venue, individuals can obtain a free Jio SIM by effortlessly scanning a barcode available at the designated Jio stall and use unlimited 5G services. This initiative underscores Jio’s dedication to democratizing access to cutting-edge technology, enabling every festival-goer to partake in the extraordinary digital experience facilitated by JioTrue5G.
In addition to the expanded network coverage, Jio will be broadcasting select events from the Hornbill Festival live on JioTV. Jio will also provide high speed internet leased line (ILL) connectivity at the Media centre at Kisama Village (one ILL for IT department and the other for tourism department), it added.
