
Mokokchung, August 20 (MExN): The Jubilee Memorial School (JMS), Mokokchung today stated in a press release that the students have achieved “excellent performance” in the state-wise assessment made by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi on the mean marks secured by candidates in various subjects.
JMS Principal SK Maiti also informed in the statement that out of 2000+ CISCE affiliated schools across the country and abroad, Jubilee Memorial School secured a place amongst the top 94 sample schools in the country as assessed by CISCE, New Delhi.
It may be mentioned that JMS was established in 1989 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Mokokchung Town Baptist Church. “It is the only School in Nagaland, affiliated to CISCE, New Delhi and ever since the first batch of students appeared for the ICSE-X Exam since 2000, it has maintained a 100% pass records with 92.16% as highest percentage and distinction in many subjects,” the principal stated.
He also added that the students have excelled in other extracurricular activities winning prizes at events/ competitions such as extempore, quiz, easy writing at district, state and national level science seminar.
