Kohima, May 1 (MExN): To mitigate the rising unemployment scenario in the State, a job fair was organised at the office complex of Director, Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Kohima on April 29.
A press release received here stated that a total of five employers participated with 252 jobseekers footfalls and 52 candidates were shortlisted for further round of interviews. Final selection report will be known after employers completed their selection processes, it stated.
The programme was launched by Kovi Meyase, Additional Secretary & Ex-Officio Director of SD&E, Government of Nagaland & Project Director, NCSC for SC/ST Kohima.
The job fair was jointly organised by offices of Director, Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Nagaland & Project Director, NCSC for SC/ST Kohima, Nagaland; Regional Employment Officer, (Model Career Centre Kohima); and Sub Regional Employment Officer, National Career Service Centre for SC/STs, Kohima, Nagaland.
