DIMAPUR, JULY 17 (MExN): In what can be termed as a welcome step towards change, the Joint Working Forum Committee of the Nagaland GBs Federation and Nagalnd DBs Association have arranged a function to formalize the good gesture of all the groups of Naga National Workers on agreeing to its Five Point Resolution.
The function is to be held on July 24 at 10 am in the Joint Forum’s Monitoring Cell Main Office located at Dimapur DC office (upstairs). The Joint forum has expressed great appreciation for wholeheartedly agreeing to ceasefire initially for six months and stated that within this period of peace, attempts would be made to bring the different groups into some understanding.
The press communiqué issued by Convenor of the Joint Forum Working Committee, A Taku Longkumer requested al the office bearers of NGBF and NDBA, presidents and Secretaries of district DB and GB Associations, leaders of Diampur GBs/Dbs, Chairman &colleagues of Dimapur Sarder Union to attend the function without fail.representatives of the NSCN (IM), NSCN (K), and FGN, Naga Hoho, ENPO, NMA, NPMHR, NSF, ENSF, All Tribal Hohos, Naga Council DImapur, DMC and NBCC are also requested to attend the said function. The Joint Forum also informed that the special invitees for the function are General Kulklarni, Chairman of the Monitoring Cell and the different Church organizations of Nagaland.
