Kohima, June 23 (MExN): The Joint Panchayat of Ward No. 16 under Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) held it’s handing and taking over programme on June 19 at New Reserve Panchayat Hall. The Joint Panchayat of Ward 16 comprises of four Panchayats/colonies namely, New Minister’s Hill, Lerie, New Reserve and Leiriechazou. With the completion of the tenure of the incumbent team, a new team was officially inducted to be headed by Vikehiekho Kintso as chairman and Thepfuneisa Sileo as general secretary, both representing New Reserve Panchayat. And as per the standing norm of the Joint Panchayat, the Chairman and Secretary of the other three Panchayats will continue as official members of the Joint Panchayat, according to a release received here.
