The attention of the NSCN/GPRN, GPRN/NSCN and NNC/FGN is drawn by a proposed meeting called by Mr T.L Angami and Mr. Shalem Konyak, so called Founder and Advisor of the Village Chief (GB) Federation, Nagaland and so called President, Village Chief (GB) Federation, Nagaland, wherein, a dubious 50 points of Draft Proposal is set to be discussed for some kind of a political settlement between the Nagas and the Government of India for which a meeting is convened for the upcoming 22nd of May, 2013.
The undersigned representatives of the 3 (three) above mentioned Governments hereby in all humility declares our inability to participate in any such “out of the way” discussion which only creates more confusion and serves as a tool for adversaries to exploit human frailties.
We therefore, urges the organizers of this proposed meeting to desist from carrying on the said proposal before it leads to any kind of development that may become detrimental to the well-being of the Naga society as a whole.
Taking this opportunity, we also would like to say that, towards any unity and peace efforts, we further commit our sincere support to the ongoing Reconciliation process led by the Forum for Naga Reconciliation.
