Service provider J-Pabo (Joldi-Pabo), a mobile application for finding rental places which is designed and created by a team of young Nagas was officially launched here, today at Hotel Saramati, Shilloi Lounge.

P Tokugha Achumi, Additional Director, Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Nagaland rolled out the application in a small ceremony attended by government officials and well-wishers.

Appreciating the team and proprietor Atoho A Kinimi for the innovative start-up, Achumi said that such applications are urgently required in the State, especially in urban settings like Dimapur, where looking out for houses has become a problem.

Now that J-Pabo is in the picture, he expressed positivity that the team will shoulder this hassle for the public.

Briefing on the application, proprietor Atoho A Kinimi said the project has been a long-time coming as it took him six years to finally introduce the product in the market.

The concept that brought about this application goes back to his years as a student, struggling to find a rental place. Then, he also came across many people facing the same problem, and this is where he started to research and find ways to bring the idea to fruition.

Joldi-Pabo, which translates as "get it quicker," will connect people to their dream house to rent, without having to waste their time and energy in looking for it, while also being reliable, Kinimi said.

The advantages of using the service as per the website say: On-time rent payment, property damage, revenue generation and verified background, which will be advantageous for both the parties - the tenants and the owners.

One can download the application from their official website: www.joldipado.com, which will soon be made available in Playstore, informed Kinimi. The services include hotels, rents, paying guest, guest house, resorts.

The service provider is currently based in Nagaland, Dimapur and applicable for Dimapur and Kohima. The team envisions expanding its service all over India in the days to come. One can register by paying a specified amount, which differs according to the location and J-Pabo will find the most suitable house of any range for the intended tenant.

There is also a section of refer and earn in the app, where anybody can earn money by referring the availability of flats and houses through the app.

Kinimi said that the team has done multiple trial and error in the past and had provided service in Kohima in 2017 through a facebook page "Find rent house in Kohima," which was fairly successful. He assured that the final product is user friendly.

The team can be contacted on their social media handles – joldi_pabo, joldipabo@gmail.com and can also be contacted at the customer care no. +918798099228.

Earlier during the event, Rev Dr Toniho Kiho, Chekiye Village Baptist Church dedicated the launch, and Mughato Swu hosted the programme.
