The North-East Zone squad for the upcoming Duleep Trophy 2023-24.
DIMAPUR, JUNE 24 (MExN): The North-East Zone squad for the upcoming Duleep Trophy 2023-24 will be led by Jonathan Rongsen from Nagaland as the Captain. Duleep Trophy is a leg of the BCCI Domestic Season 2023-24.
A 15 (fifteen) member team will be leaving for Bengaluru on June 25 to participate in the tournament where they will play against North Zone at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore from Jun 28 to July 1.
According to a press release issued by the Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA), the North-East Zone squad team include Jonathan Rongsen (Captain)- Nagaland, Nilesh Lamichaney, Kishan Lyngdoh, Langlonyamba, A.R. Ahlawat, Joseph Lalthankhuma, Pukhrambam P. Singh, Dipu Sangma, Jotin Pheiroijam, Imliwati Lemtur, Palzor Tamang, Kishan Singha, Akash Kumar, Raj Kumar Rex Singh and Nagaho Chishi.
Supporting staff include Sonam Palden Bhutia - Head Coach, Vikash Singh Chauhan - S&C Coach, Thongam Kamlesh - Physio and Dister M Marbaniang as Team Manager.
A conditioning camp for the team was hosted by Nagaland Cricket Association from June 12-24 at Nagaland Cricket Academy, Sovima, Chümoukedima, the press release stated.
