JPYO affirms commitment to quality infrastructure in Jalukie

JALUKIE, MARCH 3 (MExN): The Jalukie Pumling Youth Organization (JPYO) has affirmed its commitment to enforcing strict adherence to the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for all ongoing and future development and contract works within its jurisdiction.

The organization said it will conduct timely inspections of project sites to maintain accountability and transparency. “Any contractor or stakeholder found compromising on quality through poor workmanship or the use of inferior materials, contrary to the specifications outlined in the DPR will be held accountable and necessary actions shall be initiated as per the relevant laws and regulations,” the JPYO stated.

The organization also called for vigilance against forest fires, citing government directives against the rampant burning of forests and jungles, particularly during the dry season. “All youths and concerned citizens are urged to remain vigilant and report any such activities to the relevant authorities without delay,” it stated, adding that it will actively cooperate with concerned departments to monitor and prevent indiscriminate burning.

“Uncontrolled forest fires not only endanger biodiversity but also threaten human settlements, agricultural lands, and essential infrastructure. Therefore, collective efforts and cooperation is essential in safeguarding our environment and preventing avoidable disasters,” the JPYO said, urging the relevant department to take strict action against violators.
