KOHIMA, MAY 29 (MExN): The Jalukie Pumling Youth Organization (JPYO) has cautioned the State Government that it would resort to it own course of action if the tug of war continues over the selection of district headquarter site, much against the will of the people.
Even after the State Cabinet approval for New Peren, still uncertainty dogged the district headquarter issue as majority of the people are not in favour of the site approved by the State Cabinet. “Whether it is the government policy or political interest that they decided against the wish of the people”, said the Organization president, Asha Hingleu in a release.
Since the search for the district headquarter began, Jalukie has been the consensus choice of the people of whole district, however, the State Cabinet decision to place district headquarter at New Peren is just to create misunderstanding amongst the community, the release said.
