DIMAPUR, MAY 26 (MExN): The Jalukie Students’ Union Nagaland (JSUN) had a joint meeting with the Old Jalukie Village Council and Jalukie Pumling Nko on May 24, wherein it was decided to resume the JSUN’s indefinite bandh at Government Higher Secondary School Jalukie against the government’s insensitive attitude towards the matter of Grade IV appointment. A press note from the three organizations stated that the bandh would resume from May 25 onwards. It is also decided that the JSUN would not correspond with the Education Department on this matter “as more than enough has been endorsed to them but shall act with action until our demand is fulfilled and our right is restored.” It further urged the students, parents and staff of Government Higher Secondary School, Jalukie to bear with the inconveniences “as the issue has reached at its peak where the JSUN were compelled to take such action until the matter comes into logical conclusion as demanded.”
