Mezoma, June 7 (MExN): In a vibrant display of faith, tradition and community spirit, Mary Help of Christians Church in Mezoma village under Kohima district held a special programme called “Jubilee Thekra Peli” on Saturday, marking the start of its yearlong Golden Jubilee celebration.
The main celebration is scheduled for December 28, 2025.
The programme officially commenced at Kharuju-Ketsagei.
Keneisetuo Anthony led the programme, followed by Bible reading and a prayer led by Ngulierieno Lucy. Kenuneiü Catherine and Neingusieno Mary also prayed for the paddy field works.
Short message was delivered by Neithovilie Neri.
The event concluded with benediction by Vilalieü Veronica.
