‘Jubilee is a time to reconcile and celebrate’

The Chakhesang Christian Revival Church Youth Fellowship (CCRCYF) held its 41st general session cum silver jubilee celebration of Christian Revival Church Dzulha Village (1989-2014) from January 24 to 26 last at Dzulha village under Phek district.

Rev. Dr. N. Paphino, president NCRC, who delivered the sermon on the topic “Here am I send me,” said “Jubilee has always been special times to look back, to re-examine our lives, and to renew our faith, so that we may grow towards a deeper Christian life and do more generous service to others.”
In this, he urged upon the congregation to march forward with a mindset of change and send as many missionaries to every corner of the world to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

He also said Jubilee is a time to reconcile and celebrate, a time to renew our faith and a time of new beginnings. It is a special time for renewal and rebuilding of all relationship, with God and our fellow human beings.

Jubilee is a joy based on the forgiveness of sins, the joy of conversion and reconciliation. During jubilee debts were forgiven, families and individuals that had lost their property and even their personal freedom were given the possibility to start a new life, Rev. Dr. N. Paphino said.
Rev. Poswunyi Nyekha acted as jubilee dedication minister while Rev. Dr. N. Paphino and Rev. Vevozo Khamo, executive secretary CCCRC were the main session speakers of the three-day celebration.
