Judicial officers, lawyers urged to disperse justice to people

Longleng, November 24 (MExN): The district court complex, Longleng and e-Sewa Kendra were inaugurated at Longleng by Justice Kakheto Sema, Judge Gauhati Court on November 24.  

A DIPR report stated that in his inaugural address, Justice Kakheto Sema said, ‘having a separate court complex will have the judicial officers to function independently and fearlessly’ and encouraged the judicial officers and lawyers to disperse justice to the people.

With introduction of e-Sewa Kendra in Longleng district, he stated that the lawyers, litigants or any person can get access to their case status easily and also obtained orders and judgement which will help not only the judicial officers and lawyers but also the public in general. 

Neiko Akami, NJS registrar, Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench addressed at the occasion. The programme was chaired by Chumden Chang, NJS District & Session Judge, Longleng. Among others, it was attended by Khrievono Seletsu, NJS, Civil Judge (Jr. Div.) /JMFC, Longleng, Advocates and staffs of District Court Longleng, Deputy Commissioner, Longleng Dharam Raj and SDPO, Longleng.
