Actress Julianne Moore says having kids has saved her from the trappings of her OCD tendencies. The 50-year-old Boogie Nights star says her insecurities got so bad before she became a mother that she followed a bizarre daily ritual in order to get through each day.
“For years I was so insecure that I followed a daily routine called The Lucky Way,” explains Julianne. “It involved drinking two cups of tea, leaving my apartment at exactly the same time and pacing my walk to work so I got all the green lights. However, now having two young kids means you drop all that sort of rubbish! I’m still a bit fanatical about straightening furniture and lining stuff up but I’m much more laid back than I used to be!”
