Dimapur, September 28 (MExN): The Junkyard Senior Cup Season 2 continued on Friday at Junkyard Turf, Padumpukhuri, with three matches played in Matchweek 3.
In the first game, Slim Fit FC defeated league leaders Frenzy Shooters 2–0. Belly Burners FC overcame Team Boyhood 9–3 in the second fixture, with Sunep scoring four goals and Samaniba adding three. Defending champions SCN Thonburi beat Almost Young FC 8–1 in the last match of the evening, repeating their first season scoreline against the same opponent.
After three weeks of play, four teams are tied on points, separated only by goal difference.
The Junkyard Senior Cup is organised by Nagaland Spotlight Connect (NS Connect), a community-based initiative promoting sports, youth engagement, and grassroots development.
