JVYO urges affiliated orgs to be vigilant against ‘anti-socials’

Jalukie, November 27 (MExN): The Jalukie Valley Youth Organization (JVYO) held its presidential meeting on November 24 at Home Stay Jalukie, with all the presidents of town and village youth organizations affiliated to the JVYO. 

According to a press release received here on Wednesday, the house registered four new villages—Beisumpuikam, Lamhai Namdi, Jalukie Pungchi and Letkieram, taking the total number of affiliations under JVYO to 24 villages and 1 town.

Expressing concern over ‘anti- social activities,’ the house unanimously resolved to out rightly condemn and take stringent actions against any individuals/ group or parties indulging in such activities, creating social disturbances and hindering the safety and tranquility of the valley, the release stated.

It also urged all the presidents of all affiliated villages and town youth organizations to be cautious and vigilant in their respective jurisdictions, especially during the festive season.

The house also resolved to organize the 15th JVYO Annual Open Football Tournament in the month of February 2021, it added.
