The Kami Students’ Union (KSU) today celebrated its 50th Anniversary at Kami village under Pfutsero Sub Division of Phek district under the theme “Doing ordinary things extraordinarily well.”
The 50th Anniversary monolith was unveiled by Minister for planning & co-ordination and land revenue Neiba Kronu.
Speaking on the occasion, Kronu emphasized how the present generation students are fortunate to have access with facilities of the times.
He reminded that jobs are not limited and the world needs people of quality.
He dwelt on the need that in everything, one needs to be focused and humble oneself before God in order to be successful.
The programme was chaired by Wecheteü Khape while greeting was shared by Zhietshünyi Kronu, VDB Secretary.
KSU President Roukwekhro Khape in his presidential address highlighted on its efforts emphasizing quality education and all round development, one of which was providing extra tutorial classes to village students.
The session was also enlightened by a special invitee Dr. Jose Song, retired Professor, Hanyoung University, South Korea.
He shared his life experiences and encouraged the students to work on one’s dreams.
The programme concluded with benediction by Dr. Zhapulhou.
