Kohima, April 23 (MExN): The Kami Welfare Union Kohima (KWUK) today held its 39th annual general session cum Tsükhenyie festival at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.

Neikhrolo Khalo, vice president, Wrestling Federation of India and Neilo Khape, President Kuzhalhu Zawe exhorted the gathering.
Greeting was shared by Dr Zhapulhou Kronu, senior pastor, Kami Baptist Church. Kami Village Council chairman Visatso Kronu and Kami VDB Secretary, Zupelo Wetsa also delivered short speech.

The session was led by KWUK Vice Chairman, Kezülhitso Kronu while KWUK chairman Kewekolo Khalo delivered presidential address.

Vote of thanks was proposed by KWUK Secretary, Neipre Wetsa.

Among others, the session was marked by entertainment items like catapult & airgun shooting competition, long jump, Ehu, high jump and tug of war.

Installation of new office bearers, discussion hour and Tsükhenyie feast also marked the programme.

Nagaland’s planning & coordination, land revenue and parliamentary affairs minister Neiba Kronu, who too hail from Kami village, also joined the festival after attending a programme at Pfutseromi village.
