The festivities began with a heartwarming gesture as Karunya students welcomed the founding family by donning attire representing different countries. The Mega Play, a theatrical masterpiece, skillfully transported the audience to the historical streets of Jerusalem, capturing the essence of Christ’s birthplace in a captivating journey. Chancellor Dr Paul Dhinakaran’s inspirational messages added a profound layer, fostering an atmosphere of reflection and gratitude that resonated throughout the celebration.
Adding to the cultural richness of the event, Karunya students showcased their talents through a diverse array of dance performances. From the vibrant beats of Dandiya to the grace of Spanish dance, the energy of Tamil and Telugu folk dances, the elegance of Manipuri dance, and the dynamic moves of Western and Israeli dances, the stage came alive with the myriad hues of cultural expression.
