After nine successful collections, Khrielasier Liezietsu, 21 year old designer from Kohima is set to release the 10th collection, ‘KAYAN FALL/WINTER’ on December 12 at Ura Academy Hall at 6:00 pm. The collection has been inspired by the Kayan, a sub tribe of the Tibeto-Burman ethnic minority of Myanmar, mostly known for the long neck brass rings worn by the women. This 10th collection will showcase silhouette, all about mix-and-match of contrast presenting a sense of drama, emphasizing sharp angles and playing with varying tones throughout the collection, reinventing classic silhouettes and rethinking the approach of the Kayan tribe. The fabric used for the dresses varies from blends of synthetic and natural materials. 300 people from fashion bloggers, designers, entrepreneurs to investors and other icons are expected to witness the show. 40 models will be walking the ramp displaying the collection and 30 people working in teams will be working for the success of the show. The show is sponsored by Leni vans, Hobby haven, fusion, runway, Dana and fifa café.
