Kohima, September 2 (MExN): The Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) is organizing an Open Football Tournament to commemorate its silver jubilee celebration under the theme: ‘Press towards the goal.’
The tournament is for all believers (interdenominational) churches of Men’s Fellowship/Men’s department only.
The tournament (Jubilee Trophy 2022) is scheduled for October 20 to November 5, 2022 at two venues- Meriema Ground and Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
The champion with get Rs. 1 lakh while the first runner-up will pocket Rs 70,000. Losing semi finalist teams will receive Rs 30,000 each. Individual cash prize of Rs 5000 each will also be awarded to Highest Scorer, Best Goalkeeper, Best Defender and Best Midfielder. Player of the tournament will be awarded with Rs 10,000.
There will be limited issuance of entry form on first come first basis. The form will be issued from September 13 to 15 and the last date of submission will be September 20.
