Kohima, October 6 (MExN): In view of upcoming 25th Edition of Hornbill Festival 2024 from December 1 to 10, the Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) today informed all concerned that issuing of application forms for Hornbill Night Carnival at Kohima (Main Town) will start from October 8 onwards.
Last date of form submission is on October 26.
This year’s edition of the Carnival will give preference to Tribal-Home-Based Local Entrepreneurs, especially those dealing with Traditional Ethnic Foods and Local Cuisines, while also promoting other Local Entrepreneurs, Self Help Groups (SHGs) and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), according to KCCI president Kezhazer Angami and publicity and information secretary Kevichiizo Zumvii.
Exorbitant rates on products will be strictly monitored, it stated.
“The concept of the Hornbill Night Carnival is to offer a wholesome family time and to bring about the experience of safe-quality night life to the revellers in the capital city,” KCCI stated.
Carnival Awards will consists; Lucky Draw, Best Innovative Stall and Best Decorative Building.
