The Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) is all set to hold Hornbill Night Carnival 2024 from December 1 to 10 under the aegis of Nagaland tourism department as part of 25th Edition of Hornbill Festival 2024.
KCCI’s Hornbill Night Carnival 2024 Convenor Ruokuobeizo Kire told The Morung Express that this year Hornbill Night Carnival from Y Junction to Razhu Point (Main Town) will feature around 150 stalls. The stalls are mostly food items, decorative & toys items, souvenir, local cuisine etc, which will start from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Special attraction of the carnival will includes car show, tribal parade and Hornbill night carnival mascot.
Insisting plastic free during the carnival, Kire said that mineral water bottle below one litre will be banned. The KCCI is also coming up with a Naga traditional house at Old NST area.
Requisitioned vehicles
The Transport Department has informed to all the concerned officers/departments that application for exemption of the requisitioned government vehicles including departmental buses for the upcoming 25th Hornbill Festival will not be entertained. All officers/departments have been requested to co-operate and comply with the requisition notification issued by the Transport Department.
