KOHIMA, NOVEMBER 6 (MExN): The Kandi Churches Jubilee Mission (KCJM) comprising four churches viz Kandinu, Sishunu, K. Station & Tsonsa had donated 12 desk and 12 benches to GHS Kandinu under Tseminyu district on November 4.

Rev Khisenlo Apon, president, KCJM & Pastor Chümoukedima Rengma Baptist Church dedicated the distribution service along with his 7 team member. In his speech, Apon encouraged the students and teachers to strive for quality education and motivated the teachers to produce excellent results.

Delivering welcome note, Thongsenlo, AHM, appreciated the churches (KCJM) for doing philanthropy service by way of prayers, donation and support knowing the importance of education besides out reach their mission within the state and abroad.
Niwalo Kath, teacher and KCJM member proposed vote of thanks. Benkiya Apon, GT and KCJM member chaired the programme while GHS Kandinu students presented special song.

It is to be noted that Sishunu Village Council & K. Station Village Council also constructed water tank (Reservoir), soak pit and connecting water supply to school under Har Ghar Jal Jeevan Mission (PHED) 2023-24 which the school authority and SMDC thanked both the village Council for the welfare of school and students.

Meanwhile,  the school expressed its dismay over the department of school education (Directorate ) and Samagra Shiksha Nagaland for not posting of mathematics teacher “as the school doesn't have math teacher for the last 5 months though submitted representation, appeal the authority repeatedly by the school head, students body etc but still the department is in adamant, which adversely affect the students teaching process and it implicate the bad results of students due to non availability of Mathematics teacher.”
