KCK Nagaland Synod penalty shootout concludes

DIMAPUR, May 25 (MExN): The Kuki Christian Khangthah (KCK) Nagaland Synod Open Penalty Shootout concluded successfully at the Local Ground in Molvom Village, Chumukedima.

According to a press release from the KCK Nagaland Synod (KCKNS), the one-day event witnessed participation from several teams in both men’s and women’s categories.
The shootout was inaugurated by special guest Thangminlen Singsit, Councillor of Ward-2, Medziphema Town Council, while the closing ceremony was graced by Henkholal Hangsing of Maova Village.

The programme was hosted by Ng. Lhingneivah Guite, Recording Secretary of KCKNS. An invocation was offered by HL Suantak, Secretary of Molvom Gamkai KCC, followed by a welcome address from KCKNS Chairman Gl. Haokholam Chongloi. Paotinmang Hangsing, Secretary of KCKNS, delivered the vote of thanks, and the benediction was pronounced by Seimang Haokip, Executive Secretary of Kuki Christian Church Nagaland Synod.

In the men’s category, Crazy 6 from Samziuram clinched the title, with Team A Khaibung finishing as runners-up. In the women’s category, Kuki Christian Nute (KCN), Maova emerged victorious, while Sweet Teens from Medziphema claimed the second spot.

The KCKNS expressed gratitude to all well-wishers, prize donors, and participating teams and clubs for their support. Special appreciation was extended to KCK Molvom for their partnership in organizing the event.
