Section of the participants of district athletics meet at Meriema on August 30.
Kohima, August 31 (MExN): The Kohima District Athletics Association (KDAA) conducted the under-14, under-16, and under-18 (boys and girls) District Meet on August 30 at Meriema Village Ground.
Altogether, 74 participants joined the event in triathlon, 60m, 100m, 400m, 600m, 1000 races, high jump (scissors), long jump and shot put across all categories.
The selected athletes will be representing Kohima district at the upcoming 2nd Nagaland Junior Athletic Meet 2025 on September 10.
Earlier, oath-taking was administered by Leketoulie Liezietsu, District Technical Official (DTO) while the events briefing was done by Neilazetuo Khezhie, Federation State Technical Official (FSTO).
The opening ceremony was chaired by Neingusalie Khoubve, General Secretary, KDAA.
