KDAA launches jersey for junior meet

KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 7 (MExN): The Kohima District Athletics Association (KDAA) on Sunday launched its official jersey for the upcoming 2nd Nagaland Junior Athletics Meet, scheduled to begin on September 10.

The jersey was unveiled at Mission Compound, Kohima, by Leketoulie Liezietsu, Level-1 Athletics Coach, in the presence of KDAA General Secretary Neingusalie Khoubve and District Technical Officer Thepfuzolie Sekhose.

Addressing the athletes, Liezietsu encouraged them to participate with dedication, discipline, and consistency. He emphasised the importance of prayer, strong will, and perseverance in achieving sporting excellence.

A total of 40 selected athletes will represent Kohima district at the meet, which aims to provide a competitive platform for young talents from across the state.

The KDAA also highlighted the role of the jersey in fostering team spirit and a sense of pride among the district’s athletes.
