Kohima | August 21
Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) vice president Medozhatuo Rutsa today launched the jersey of Kohima District Basketball Association (KDBA) for the forthcoming 2nd Nagaland Olympic and Paralympics Games 2022.
In his address at the launching ceremony held at Vivid Lounge, Kohima, Rutsa appreciated the Government of Nagaland and Nagaland Olympic Association for creating the platform for the youngsters to showcase their talents.
He maintained that such platform provide opportunity to the youth to take up sports as a career.
He also urged the government to give equal attention in developing sports in the state.
The programme was chaired by Vizokhrienuo Khro while welcome address was delivered by Nunese. Keneiyalie Tungoe, associate pastor Baptist Mission Church pronounced dedicatory prayer.
