KOHIMA, JULY 15 (MExN): The Kohima District Badminton Association (KDBA) will be conducting selection/trials of players for the Kohima District team for the upcoming Nagaland Inter-District Tournament 2022 cum Nagaland Olympics 2022 which is to be held at Longleng in August.
The selection/trials will be held at the State Indoor Stadium, Officers Hill on July 30 at 8:00 am. A press release from the KDBA further informed that the category where players will be selected for the Inter-District Tournament 2022 will be: Men and Women - Singles and Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Junior Boy and Girls under-19 - Singles and Doubles, U-19 Mixes Doubles, Boy and Girls under-17 Singles and Doubles, Boy and Girls under-15 Singles and Doubles, Boy and Girls under-13 Singles and Doubles, Boy and Girls under-11 Singles and Doubles, and Boy and Girls under-9 Singles.
The Veterans (Masters) category will include Men - 35+ Doubles, Men - 40+ Doubles, Men - 45+ Doubles, Men - 50+ Doubles, Men - 55+ Doubles, Men - 60+ Doubles, and Men - 65+ Doubles
