The first Kohima district futsal championship will be conducted by Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) from September 2-3 at L. Viluo FIFA Pro Astro Turf at Meriema.
Last date of form submission for the Championship is on September 1 before 12 noon. The KDFA informed that registration for players can be done on the spot.
Registration forms for both the players and the Championship, are available at Start Sports (PR Hill); 2K Hotel (Ladies Mile, Officer’s Hill), Global Sports (KK Angami Building) Opposite Oking Hospital, Phool Bari; Sports Paradise (Rüluo Market, Old Tata Parking); and Flora Bakery (Aga Complex, High School).
Registration for the championship is fixed at Rs. 2500. Winner of the futsal championship will receive a cash prize of Rs. 30,000 while the runner-up will receive Rs. 20,000, along with trophies and citations. For every match, cash reward will be given to the ‘Player of the Match’.
The Championship will be conducted in 5-a-side format, the basis of play will be either League/ Knock-Out basis according per team registration.
