KDFA informs on regulations

Kohima, July 17 (MExN): With reference to a press release dated December 18, the Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) has reiterated the necessary regulations that need to be followed within Kohima District, as directed by NFA which came to effect on January 1, 2023.

The NFA had issued directives to all District Football Associations to follow certain guidelines prescribed by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for the growth and development of football in the country.

In view of those guidelines, it reiterated that any association, club or group(s) desiring to conduct any football tournament under Kohima District should obtain authorization letter beforehand from KDFA in consultation with NFA.

In any given tournament(s), the organizers, players, officials, should mandatorily follow all the regulations of AIFF/FIFA/AFC and laws of the game.

All outstation participating team(s) should have in their possession a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their respective parent Association without which the team(s) would be barred from participating at any Tournaments at Kohima District, likewise all Team(s) of Kohima District should mandatorily obtain NOC from KDFA for participating at any outstation Tournaments.

No registered referees under Kohima District Football Referee Association (KDFRA) will be allowed to officiate any unregistered or non-affiliated tournaments. In case of violation, strict action will be initiated against the individual. It may be noted that the President of Kohima District Football Referees Association is an Executive Member of KDFA.
