KDFA notifies on conduct & procedure of private football tournaments from 2023

Kohima, December 18 (MExN): The Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) has notified the procedures for the conduct of private football tournaments within Kohima district, that need to be adhered to, with effect from January 1, 2023.

As per a directive received from the Nagaland Football Association (NFA), guidelines have been issued by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) requesting all football Associations to follow suit.

In this regard, any association within Kohima district must obtain authorisation from KDFA in consultation with NFA in advance for the conduct of any tournament in the district.

All regulations of AIFF/FIFA/AFC and laws of the games must be strictly followed.

All participating teams must also carry a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent Association.

No team would be allowed to participate without the NOC obtained from their parent association to take part in the tournaments. So in this regard, no team from Kohima district would be permitted to participate in outstation competitions without obtaining NOC from KDFA.

As per the AIFF guideline, no unregistered or non-affiliated tournaments would be permitted or hosted in the state.

This is notified as per the NFA letter dated 2nd November 2022, with reference to the circular of AIFF/Tournament /2022-799 dated Delhi 2nd Nov 2022 regarding implementation of guidelines for hosting or permitting any tournaments in the district.
