Kohima, June 8 (MExN): The Kohima District Football Association will be organising grassroots football tournament in three categories for age group U-15 (7 aside), U-13 (5-aside) and U-10 (5 aside- mix gender).
KDFA stated that to revive football, the association is focusing on grassroot level, hoping that the tournament will inspire young boys and girls to take up sports as a profession by providing them with quality platform in terms of exposure and competitiveness in the game.
The three day long tournament will begin from June 21 till the 23rd at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
The tournament will be opened for all district with a registration fee of Rs. 2000 per team.
There will be cash prize in each category for first and second position along with trophy and citation.
