Kohima, May 9 (MExN): The Kohima District Legal Services Authority held an essay competition along with the celebration of Mother’s Day at Tyrannus Boys Hostel, Jakhama on May 8.
According to a press release received here on Monday, the 40 Tyrannus boys actively participated in the essay competition wherein Renathung Robert Humtsoe, Lemkohli Sangtam and Sedevikho Keyho won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively. The winning trio received certificates and cash awards while all the other participants, adding up to 40, also received certificates of appreciation.
The prize distribution for the essay competition conducted by the KDLSA and was given away by the hostel proprietor Neisedeno Savi.
Meanwhile, KDLSA’s Kezhokhoto Savi encouraged the hostellers by sharing the word of God and highlighting the role of mothers as per the scripture, following which, the gathering prayed for mothers.
