Kohima: The Kohima District Legal Services Authority (KDLSA) in partnership with Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) is observing International Women Day under the theme “Inspiring change” on March 8 at DC Conference Hall Kohima from 10:30 AM onwards. V. Ashu Theyo, panel lawyer and Zheviholi Swu, panel lawyer will be the resource person who will speak on the topic “Constitutional safeguard towards women” and “Welfare legislation for women” respectively. Short speeches will be delivered by W. Honje Konyak, Deputy Commissioner Kohima and Rosemary Dzuvichu, associate professor and advisor NMA. Keynote address will be delivered by Y. Maongkaba Imchen, district &b session judge, Kohima while welcome address will be delivered by Mezivolu T. Therieh, chief judicial magistrate Kohima.
Panel lawyer Joshua Sheqi will chair the function while concluding remarks will be given by Abeiu Meru, president NMA.
