21 years Kedosie Nagi today emerged the champion title of the 1st Biennial Inter Collegiate Naga Wrestling Competition held at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.

Representing Sazolie College, Phezhu, Jotsoma,   he pocked a cash prize of Rs 30,000. Azhalhou Kire of Alder College Kohima bagged 1st runner up and awarded with Rs 20, 000. Avituo Nagi of Sazolie College and Rokoviso Secii of Baptist College Kohima stood 3rd and 4th position and received Rs 15,000 and Rs 10, 000 respectively.

29 wrestlers from 13 colleges joined the event.

Dr Hiabe Zeliang, president Nagaland Wrestling Association graced the closing ceremony as the guest of honour and gave away prize to the winners. He thanked Sazolie College for the successful conduct of the event. He maintained that determination, discipline and consistency will take the sportspersons to the higher level.

Earlier, Medo Yhokha, advisor technical education & elections, Nagaland, graced the opening ceremony as the chief guest.

The event was organized by Sazolie College, Phezhu, Jotsoma.
