Keep going while you can

Hotels and restaurants have come to a complete stop. We have seen a sharp fall in demand as consumers are either unable to visit or deficit the spare cash for nonessential purchases. We have experienced a poignant distress of some sort-loss of normalcy, seemingly growing economic recession, uncertainty.

The only thing constant in our industry is change. Getting to witness the new reality is a challenge for all. We have started investing on the concept of more takeaway and delivery. That’s not even 10% of our daily sale.

We are facing a bummer, although we have to move decisively together. The apt, acute, measures could make the distinctiveness between survival and collapse. Terminating your employee would not only falter their financial condition but also cramp their morale to fight the pandemic.

Unsurprisingly, corona virus is certain over the course of our conversation.

It is easy to become frustrated, startled and utterly angry.

Yet we choose to remain optimistic in our field. Using this moment to reflect on the good in life. Along the way we rediscover our entrepreneurial spirit and must be productive as much as we can.

The most important thing we can do, and must do, however is live in the present. It is to be mindful and mentally and emotionally stable in the present moment.

What we do now will ascertain the situation we are in tomorrow.

A life enriched with faith and creativity offers the prospect of further living.

Keep going while you can. Wisdom cannot be received. We must discover it ourselves  and I believe many of us are exploring our different potential even though our worlds have contracted to the confines of our homes.

Everyone is vying with the pandemic and it’s effects from different places and in different ways. Hoping that reading ours will assuage the fear, a little, and remind us that what we are going through is both unique and shared by all.

Social distancing saves life.
