Dimapur, February 11 (MExN): The Kevijau Colony Council in its emergency meeting on February 9 had resolved that the Council will stand for Clean Election as resolved in the Core Committee. “As per Clean Election principal, One Man One Vote shall be strictly maintained.”
It resolved that no election camp or election canvassing will be allowed within Kevijau Colony; no posters, banners shall he allowed to put in the Colony and no outsiders shall he allowed to enter the polling stations at Kevijau on Polling day except Government authorised officials.
“The Council will take appropriate action against the defaulters,” stated a press release issued by Kevijau Colony Council chairman Er M Tia Jamir and secretary Er. Nizal Thepa.
Further, it informed that the Council will organize a Common Platform for the Candidates on February 16 at 2:00 pm at Kevijau Council Hall where the intending Candidates are informed to come with their election manifesto.
